A Irmandade foi fundada em 1 de março de 1776, por Adam Weishaupt, professor de Direito Canônico da Universidade Ingolstadt, na Alemanha, que adotou o nome simbólico de Spartacus.

Adam tinha um programa político que incluía a abolição das monarquias. Mas seu grande objetivo era a criação de uma Nova Ordem Mundial.

A Banda Paramore é formada pelos moradores de Franklin, Tenessee: Hayley Williams, Josh e Zac Farro e Jeremy Davis. A carismática ruivinha mudou-se para a cidade vinda do Mississippi, e logo ao chegar começou a tomar aulas de canto com Brett Manning. Williams e Jeremy Davis já eram colegas de banda da “The Factory”, que tocava covers de funk, enquanto os irmãos Farro apenas praticavam após a escola. Nascida em 1937 no País de Gales, Shirley Bassey começou cantando em clubes noturnos para homens. Na noite da última segunda-feira, 21 de janeiro de 2002, a cantora e compositora Peggy Lee que já vinha tendo problemas cardíacos há três anos, morreu de enfarte em sua casa em BelAir, Los Angeles aos 81 anos.

As autoridades australianas proibiram a venda do jogo de vídeo «Fallout 3». A informação é avançada pela agência Reuters.

Segundo a mesma notícia, o jogo que ainda não foi lançado, na base da decisão está o facto de na história surgirem substância ilícitas.
